Spectacle Lake

The guy floating around in the centre of the lake caught a few. (bastard)

Returned for the first time since the thaw. Lake was stocked with 500 rainbow trout earlier this month. Lake was very active. Fish jumping and rising everywhere. It turns out, Spectacle Lake is too shallow for float tubing. I get completely freaked out by seeing submerged sticks, trees, branches and human hands reaching from the inky blackness to grab my flipper and pull me to the bottom. So, after hauling everything down to the water's edge (525 steps in each direction), I hauled everything back to the car and grabbed my spin caster. I only managed to catch one on a black streamer. I had several bites. There was another guy on a tube and he only caught 1 as well.
